Delivery Information
All delivery prices are calculated in the basket. To get a clear view of the charge, add all the products you want to order to your basket, select the desired delivery option and delivery zone. You will not have to add your payment details to do this.
We will always do our utmost to get your order delivered to you as quickly as possible, with many delivered in 2 working days. However, some products we may not hold in stock and will have a longer lead time from the manufacturer. In these cases, delivery can be up to 17 working days (though it is usually less). Should you require a custom item or discontinued stock, these items are considered special orders and may require custom manufacture or additional sourcing. The lead time on these may be significantly longer, and we will advise as best we can on this.
Some products are particularly large and bulky so it may not be possible to deliver them to some locations, such as high-rise properties. If there are any obstacles to delivering your order to your door, please mention it in the comments box during check out.
Whilst we pride ourselves in meeting our delivery promises, we rely on third party couriers to get your order to you so occasionally there are delays for reasons beyond our control. If this happens we will do our best to advise you.
Free standard delivery
We offer free delivery for orders over £50 to most of Britain. Delivery to Highlands & Islands carries a surcharge, which you will be advised of in the cart when you enter your postcode.
The small print
Free delivery applies only to orders over £50. It is a standard working day delivery, not for next day or Saturday delivery. It's available for most products on our website but is dependent on manufacturers' lead times (some products may not be available in 2 working days, we will advise you of this either on the product page or in correspondence to you when you have place your order). Please ensure you submit your order by 2pm otherwise the delivery date will move one working day on.
Delivery to Highlands and Islands incurs an additional charge (not available free) and will take additional time.
Despatch of your order
Our customer service will allocate a space for your order with our delivery partners to ensure it arrives in good condition and on time. You'll receive an email on the day your order is sent with details. Normal delivery times are between 9am and 5pm. If you need a more information about the delivery time, please contact the delivery company mentioned in the despatch email.
Delivery of your order
We'll despatch products to your home, site or third party at your request but please note orders sent to a third party or site are despatched at your risk. Larger orders are sent on a pallet and are normally delivered on a rigid vehicle with a tail lift. This usually means your order will be dropped on your driveway or on the kerbside.
What to do if you can't be there to accept delivery
Please make sure you are free to accept delivery on the agreed date. If you're unable to be there yourself, contact us at least 48 hours before your delivery is due to take place so we can arrange another delivery on a day that suits you.
Otherwise, you can send us instructions to deliver the goods in your absence to info@deluxeroofwindows.co.uk. Alternatively, leave a detailed written note at your address, with your signature, that the driver can take with him. If no one is present to accept delivery and you've left us no written instructions, the order will not be left.
If you're not present to sign for your order, and haven't made alternative arrangements, you'll incur a missed delivery charge.
Accepting your delivery
To make sure you're not disappointed when you unpack your order after signing for it, we advise you to check the goods thoroughly before signing for them. Read our returns policy and find what to do if your product has a fault.
Don't accept damaged products. Orders signed for “unchecked” will be deemed to have been received in good condition.
We work with third parties to deliver products to you, so we accept no responsibility for damage to any parts by a third party.
Once the order have been delivered to your home/site, the risk of any damage to or loss of those it passes to you. You will only own the products once they have been successfully delivered and when we have received cleared payment in full. After this point we will no longer be liable for their loss or condition.
Damaged items
Unfortunately accidents do happen, so if the goods are damaged when they reach you, sign the delivery note as damaged and contact us as soon as possible.
If after signing for your order you later find there is damage, you have 14 days from delivery to tell us, after which no exchange can be made. If you left instructions for the order to be left in your absence, tell us of any damages within 24 hours of delivery.
Photographs will help us ensure a speedy change of product. Please send them to info@deluxeroofwindows.co.uk with information about your order and the damage. We'll follow up as soon as possible.
